| Feeling at home in Home Depot |
Neither of us feel as though we fit in this city. You'd think with the vast diversity there'd be someone or something that we could relate to, or at least feel like just another part of the mix. But we don't. It's odd, really.
Most box stores don't even feel like the suburbs at home because the aisles are never stocked because of the large number of people constantly in these stores. But today at the Home Depot in Queens Charlie zipped through the aisles gathering supplies. For a minute I kinda loved Home Depot.
