Everyone has one, Mom
I'm the only one in my class who doesn't have a thermos.
Is it terrible that this worked, and I ordered up a thermos from Amazon? He did say it to me several times over the course of a few months, and after I ate lunch with Hans and his class I realized my boys are really the only kids packing sandwiches and chips for lunch. Most kids bring leftovers and there are lots of thermoses. What are these mamas thinking; I need leftovers for dinner the next night!
And look at this face. So easily pleased. I am happy he has a thermos like everyone else, although his has buttered noodles inside since I'm not giving up any leftovers.
I need to note that he gave me the same line about Disneyworld: I'm the only one in my class who hasn't been to Disneyworld. This was long after I had booked the trip though, but it wouldn't have swayed me. It won't sway me for earrings, tattoos, or $100 jeans either. I am actually looking forward to that lesson!

Mothering Advice
From the check out lady at Rouses' the local grocery store, after telling me how big he's gotten since we last saw her 7 days ago:
"It goes quick. Take a picture every single day. No, you give that camera to someone else. I got an album full of pictures of my babies, my babies and their daddy, my babies and their grandma, my babies and the dog,but I don't have any pictures of me and my babies."

I was happy to promise just that.
