And that means apple picking.
And cider and donuts!
We were a little late this year, after having a busy September (hoping to post more about that soon!)
We didn't make it to the orchard and pumpkin patch until very late in the season, mid October.
Thankfully there were still a few pumpkins left on the vine because Freddie was dying to try his new pocket knife from Acadia National Park. He sawed, and sawed, and sawed with that little thing.
Fall has been warm so far, with some days getting to the high 70s. We know this won't last though!
We were too late for sunflowers this year but I was able to get some tomatoes!
And then finally to the orchard to hunt for some apples.
As usual, Hans was the tester. He had to have one of every variety.
It took us a while to find some trees with fruit we could reach!
Hunting for them provided lots of entertainment.
A great day, and my favorite fall tradition.
