That's amazing!!! We just bought a balance bike for Cassidy for Christmas and she wants nothing to do with it. :(

Jenny, the balance bike was key to making learning so painless. He pedaled on his first try and could do it!

Now we are going outside with two bikes..this one and the balance. Just like when he got the balance bike we were going outside with the balance bike and the scooter. And i do remember just dragging the scooter along for a while before he finally jumped on that.

Kinda goes with the saying I learned reading Tiger Mother...Nothing is fun until you are good at it. I didn't know if I totally agreed with that when I read it, but I can definitely see it's truth in multiple occasions with Freddie. I try to encourage the learning and the process.

And I think peer pressure is a big motivator. He's got a couple friends on big boy bikes so he was determined he was going to do the same.
